Open since winter 2011, Trinosophes is an artist-run space owned and operated by musician/composer Joel Peterson and curator/publisher Rebecca Mazzei. The venue is located inside a former spice processing warehouse in the Detroit's historic Eastern Market district at 1464 Gratiot Avenue.

Trinosophes presents hundreds of concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, literary readings and other art events per year. In 2018, we launched a record label, Two Rooms Records co-founded with musician Sam Hooker. Late last year, we debuted our quarterly arts and literary journal, Three Fold Press, featuring contributors from across the country and overseas.

Our cafe is open on Fridays-Saturdays, 10a-2p, alongside Warda Patisserie, Peoples Records, Air + Earth (retail houseplants) and Classic Koh (Japanese incense importer).

Our concert venue is re-opening slowly.
Masks are recommended and appreciated for entry.
