Open since winter 2011, Trinosophes is an artist-run space owned and operated by musician/composer Joel Peterson and curator/publisher Rebecca Mazzei. The venue is located inside a former spice processing warehouse in the heart of Detroit's historic Eastern Market district at 1464 Gratiot Avenue.

Trinosophes presents hundreds of concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, literary readings and other art events per year. In 2018, we launched a record label, Two Rooms Records. Late last year, we debuted our quarterly arts journal, Three Fold Press, featuring contributors from across the country and overseas.

Our concert venue and gallery are currently closed. We look forward to gathering inside again safely. In the meantime, we are prioritizing the support of artists in our community by releasing records and publications. Our space is also home to the Detroit-based small businesses Warda Pâtisserie and Peoples Records/Michigan Audio Heritage Society Museum.
